About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join the SRE team supporting mission operations infrastructure tooling and customer programming use case configuration troubleshooting. The infrastructure tooling includes automation, alerting, resiliency, and monitoring. The role may involve spending up to 50% of the day on system administration tasks while ramping up and carries an on-call requirement.

Requirements

• Ten years of software engineering experience.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field, or an additional five years of software engineering experience in place of the degree, for a total of fifteen years.
• Linux experience with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu.
• Programming experience in Python, C, and BASH.
• Experience with Salt and Ansible automation.
• Comfort spending up to 50% of the day on system administration tasks while ramping up.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with verification code.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph; most recent polygraph must be within seven years.
• Availability to meet the on-call requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins.
• Experience managing feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Experience with Prometheus metrics and movement toward customized Grafana dashboards.
• Experience with Gitbucket source control.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slurm.

Responsibilities

• Support mission operations infrastructure tooling, including automation, alerting, resiliency, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot customer programming use case configurations.
• Perform system administration tasks while ramping up.
• Participate in the on-call rotation or otherwise meet the position’s on-call requirement.
