About The Position

Unisity, LLC is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to provide customer support for High Performance Computing (HPC) software, ensuring the continued operation of High Performance Computers. This role involves supporting a range of UNIX, LINUX, and Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks essential for mission support. The engineer will be responsible for integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software within a heterogeneous operating system environment.

Requirements

• Proficient with Linux Shell scripting
• Proficient with Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
• Proficient with Python Programming
• Proficient with GCC compiler
• Proficient with Multi-threaded software
• Proficient with Parallel processing
• Proficient with CORBA, J2EE
• Proficient with Perl or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
• Structured troubleshooting skills
• System installation
• Working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
• 6 years demonstrable experience (with a degree, or 11 without) with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• United States Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations.
• Support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.
• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
