Cruz Associates, Inc. is seeking Software/Instrumentation Engineering candidates to join our team at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The contractor will be responsible for configuring special purpose ground and flight test equipment for data acquisition, display, reduction, analysis, and archiving. This includes supporting local or remote test sites, and potentially in-flight instrumentation. The role involves implementing data acquisition and monitoring controls for various data streams, participating in flight testing with pre-flight checks, in-flight support, and post-flight reporting. Candidates will observe tests to gain familiarity with IT specific to the mission, review and debug existing custom software routines (MATLAB, LabView, C#, C++, Visual Basic), and develop new routines if necessary. They will also operate electronics test equipment, transport and set up test equipment, and may be required to support flight duties, including night flights with Night Vision Goggles. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 25 lbs are required. Passing an annual FAA III class or military Class III flight physical is mandatory.
