Cruz Associates, Inc. is seeking Software/Instrumentation Engineering candidates to join our team at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The role involves configuring special purpose ground and flight test equipment for data acquisition, display, reduction, analysis, and archiving. This includes implementing data acquisition and monitoring controls for various standard hardware and data streams, participating in flight testing with pre-flight checks, system launch and recovery, in-flight support, and post-flight reporting. The position requires reviewing and investigating existing custom-developed software routines, debugging issues, and potentially developing new routines with comparable functionality. Responsibilities also include operating electronics test equipment, transporting and setting up test equipment, and supporting flight duties as needed. Candidates must be able to pass an annual FAA III class or military Class III flight physical and qualify for night flights with Night Vision Goggles (NVGs).
