This investment will add important new capabilities and features both for self-directed and advisor driven trading. The Trading and Capital Markets Trading Engineering team manages, develops and supports critical trading applications for Capital Trading Markets desk and also provides services for self directed and advisors trading. It has approximately 50 engineers globally between the US and India. Our main development centers in the US are in Charlotte (NC) and St. Louis (MO). You should expect to spend time in the office on a flexible schedule collaborating with your team. Our engineers are a mixture of full stack, front end and back-end service experts, who take advantage of the firm’s commitment to ongoing professional development through a wide range of resources. We have a separate first line support team that allows engineers to focus on their objectives. Our partnership with our business and co-ownership of work through the Agile product operating model means that there is plenty of opportunities for you to work directly with our business partners and further your understanding of the business. Wells Fargo's Capital Markets Trading team is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Manager to lead the Trading product teams for their Charolotte location. This leader will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing strategic capabilities to modernize and scale legacy platforms within the Trading space. They will play a critical role in shaping the product definition, design, roadmap, and development of the current and new trade products. The team promotes modern trade engineering best practices intended to improve quality and improve time to market. Key skills include solutions architecture, domain driven design, test driven design and experience building and deploying. It is crucial that the Senior Manager has financial knowledge in wealth management, Fixed Income, Equities and options, and order execution management. This manager will work on modern engineering practices in the artificial intelligence and machine learning. They will also develop direct reports by coaching, mentoring and enabling the work of software engineers.
