About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director to join the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) Group. The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are purpose built to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed. This role is responsible for managing Compliance Risk Technology, including portions of Employee Compliance, and operating support across the firm. The leader brings expertise in the risk management domain and regulatory expectations while designing and implementing technology solutions that automate and simplify compliance workflows. The role focuses on modernizing the operating environment to reduce cost, increase automation, and strengthen ongoing regulatory compliance. The position regularly engages with executive leadership, proposing credible, domain‑informed technical strategies, and oversees delivery through a large-scale engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)
  • Experience in driving AI adoption across technology teams and business partners
