We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Lead who is passionate about building modern, scalable, and secure web applications. In this role, you’ll mentor and guide a team of talented developers, while driving the technical design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a key technical leader, you will shape the architecture, enforce best practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional products that make a real impact.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership role.
  • Proven expertise with: Front-end: React.js (or similar modern JavaScript framework)
  • Back-end: Java, C#.NET (ASP.NET Core), Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI) (or any object-oriented programming language)
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure / AWS / GCP, Platform services.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and Azure AD.
  • Knowledge of data engineering or machine learning pipelines.
  • Experience delivering software within a regulated environment (medical device / healthcare, FDA design controls, or equivalent QMS), including design documentation, verification evidence, and requirements traceability

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers to design and build modern web applications using multiple web technologies.
  • Define, document, and enforce coding standards, development processes, and engineering best practices.
  • Drive solution architecture and play a key role in high-level design discussions.
  • Take accountability for assigned features and software components from clinical/commercial intent through technical design to delivery — translating expected clinical behavior into software requirements, designs, and implementation, and driving them across functions to completion.
  • Contribute directly to coding and implementation of key features and components.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and QA teams to deliver features on time and with excellence.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
