Software Engineering Lead
About The Position
FlowGen Labs is a frontier enterprise AI company building the zero-touch enterprise: context-aware agents that operate inside highly customized SAP environments at machine speed, grounded in each company’s ontology, live operational data, and operating procedures so complex workflows can run autonomously instead of relying on manual support teams. FlowGen is focused on turning legacy ERP from a system of record into an execution layer for finance and operations. Deployed at Fortune 500 companies across CPG, distribution, high tech, and oil and gas, FlowGen Labs brings together a frontier AI and SAP team from DeepMind, SAP, Meta AI, and Amazon AGI Labs. Define architecture, standards, and deliver solutions end to end. This hybrid, generalist role blends core platform design in cloud (AWS/Azure) data and application architecture with hands on, customer facing delivery. You will lead builds across Node.js services, AI and agent workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems, owning quality and reliability.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK.
- Strong observability with metrics, tracing, logs, and SLOs.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript for APIs and services.
- Proficiency with Postgres and experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Milvus for retrieval and semantic search.
- Experience orchestrating agentic workflows and retrieval augmented generation.
- Solid engineering practices including CI/CD with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, automated testing, code reviews, trunk based development.
- Comfortable with Docker and modern release management.
- Hands on use of AI tools with clear ideas for applying AI to development, testing, data, and support.
- Ownership mentality, crisp communication, comfortable deciding with 80 percent information.
- Move fast without breaking things, not afraid to learn new stacks, bring a we will figure it out attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with LangGraph is a plus.
