About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join the Axway team for the summer! Our mission is simple – Deliver secure, highly available products for Axway’s Digital Business Platform. We are building our next generation of universal API Management platform and that enables multi-gateway and multi-cloud API management and governance across your enterprise, while enabling you to increase the visibility and consumption of your APIs by engaging across your internal and partner ecosystem, throughout their lifecycle. The Axway R&D Team is looking for a Software Engineering Intern who enjoys coding and has a passion for learning software development and new technologies. You will be part of an agile team with strong customer focus, where you will build new features for the API Management Platform and build features for Amplify Engage and Amplify Enterprise Marketplace products.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Full-Stack Exposure: Work on front-end (HTML/CSS, React, TypeScript) and back-end (Java/Node.js) components.
Agile Methodology: Understand agile development fully and its practices.
DevOps Basics: Assist in deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and debug features for SaaS applications using Java or JavaScript.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards set by the team.
Collaborate and communicate with product owners, architects, UX, and members of other scrum teams.
Participate in all sprint activities such as planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
Write technical documentation for features and deployment processes.
Identify and resolve bugs in both development and production environments.
Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.
