Software Engineering Intern
About The Position
In this role, your responsibilities will include applying technical expertise, commensurate with formal training and job experience, in the design and development of embedded firmware. You will prepare detailed plans, generally spanning several weeks to months, necessary to complete assignments. You will troubleshoot and debug software using unit tests, emulators, simulators, IDE, and bench testing. Additionally, you will provide process improvements and recommendations, work with internal cross-functional teams to understand firmware requirements, perform functional integration testing prior to hand-off to the test & evaluation team, and conduct software design reviews on assigned projects.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer, Software, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
