The software engineering intern will be provided with a mentor during developed, designed and tested according to the objectives of DO-178B/C for certification on airborne systems. The software engineering intern tasks include the following: Learning opportunities with software development for embedded products Obtaining direction from a mentee to develop challenging software projects Participating in team development

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit in a STEM degree by the start of the internship/co-op session.
  • Sophomore+ with courses in programming languages, embedded software development or model base design.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
