About The Position
MongoDB is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer internship beginning in May or June 2027. Interns are integrated into software engineering teams across the Product and Technology organization, collaborate with full-time engineers and cross-functional teammates, and gain practical software engineering experience. During the internship, they work on production-level code and contribute to MongoDB products and services for internal teams, external customers, and developer end users. The internship runs for 12 consecutive weeks, ending in August or September. Interns are full-time, 40 hours per week, and follow a hybrid working model that requires being in the office three to five days per week. The program offers engineering mentorship, guidance from the Early Talent Recruitment Team, career coaching and training, networking with executives and departmental leaders, intern community events, and relocation support. A full-time offer may be possible at the end of the summer. The position is open to U.S.-based candidates authorized to work in the United States. The U.S. base salary range is $86,528–$123,552.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a foundation in computer science theory, including proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Be fluent in at least one of Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, Node.js, or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
- Have at least one quarter or semester of university studies remaining after the internship.
- Have a graduation date in Fall 2027, Spring 2028, Summer 2028, Fall 2028, Spring 2029, or Summer 2029.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
