About The Position

At Overland AI, we believe the hardest problems demand exceptional teams. We're excited to offer software engineering internship opportunities for the Summer of 2027. As an intern, you will tackle real, open-ended problems that directly contribute to our mission of building autonomous systems for the most challenging environments. Working closely with a mentor and our engineering team, you will apply your knowledge and grow your skills through high-impact projects. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly. Software internships are available across the company within different teams such as Mission Autonomy, Perception & Machine Learning, Platforms, Behaviors and Planning, C2 and Interfaces. Please note: these roles require you to work onsite at our Seattle location.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or a similar STEM field
Project-level experience with Python, C++, or Rust
Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10–14 consecutive weeks
