About The Position
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for its Space sector in Aurora, Colorado. The intern will join the Software and Controls Engineering team and contribute within a company supporting government, civil, and commercial customers with space solutions. The internship offers opportunities to learn new skills, explore the enterprise, network with experts and thought leaders, and receive training and professional development. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company. U.S. citizenship is required. The intern must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027, and must remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027. Travel is listed as 10% of the time; relocation assistance is not available.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Major in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or Physics) degree.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
