Software Engineering Co-Op (Jan-Aug 2027)
About The Position
This co-op position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with software architects and engineers on developing software utilities, proof-of-concept applications, automated testing solutions, and product development tools. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support development projects and technical initiatives, applying academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. This role involves exploring emerging technologies, contributing to artificial intelligence initiatives by integrating AI services into software solutions, and developing practical software engineering skills. It's an excellent chance to explore potential career interests and gain exposure to various engineering disciplines before graduation.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in person in Eden Prairie, MN from January 2027 through August 2027.
- Interest in software development, product engineering, testing, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Junior or senior standing is preferred; sophomore students will also be considered.
- Knowledge of .NET and C#.
- Exposure to software development practices through coursework, student projects, research, or previous internship experiences.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, software architecture, or product development.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to practical engineering challenges.
