About The Position

PathAI is seeking intellectually curious and driven engineering students for Software Engineering Co-op positions focused on MLOps, from September to December 2026. This role involves contributing to the development and scaling of machine learning infrastructure that supports PathAI's enterprise AI systems in both research and production. The MLOps team works with cloud infrastructure (AWS and on-prem), Kubernetes, distributed systems, and observability, emphasizing reliability, reproducibility, speed, and dependability. Co-ops will gain hands-on experience in ML automation.

Requirements

• Previous work experience (internship, volunteer, or other employment).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 50% of the degree program completed.
• Insatiable intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex space.
• Team player mentality.
• Willingness to do the work, no matter the size.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems with code, building and refactoring features for internal users.
• Interface directly with team members of all levels.
• Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to solve problems sustainably.
• Collaborate with machine learning and infrastructure teams.
• Uphold high engineering standards, ensuring software is reviewed, tested, and integrated.
• Learn and share knowledge with others.
