About The Position
You will be the Associate Software Engineering Manager for the F-22 Maintenance System Software Team. Our team is responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining the platform for F-22 maintenance information system. In this position, you will be responsible for Personnel Management (training, mentoring, career development, performance/compensation, and promotions) as well helping drive technical execution which will encompass a small percentage of technical duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Software Engineering Management or Software Engineering Team Lead experience
- Agile Software development experience
- Experience with modern software engineering tools (JIRA, Gitlab, Confluence, Cameo, Doors)
- Project Management or technical planning experience
- Must be a US Citizen for consideration
Nice To Haves
- Good understanding of Agile Software development
- Understanding of cost and schedule drivers
- Previous project management experience executing software development projects while meeting cost and schedule objectives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experience with software requirements
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities
