About The Position

Responsible for supporting the Final Systems Checkout (J830) on the F35 Program. This role involves coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. The manager is responsible for resource allocation, work assignments, and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. They will oversee all aspects of quality for their assigned area, communicate quality requirements, concerns, and expectations, and actively participate in risk and opportunity management processes. The role ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met, along with the appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and their effective implementation. Additionally, the manager ensures the effective implementation of the quality management system, a metrics program with active addressing of adverse trends, and product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Advanced understanding of Quality principles in Aerospace industry
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
  • Experienced in Quality Management Systems (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145)
  • Experience working with Government customers
  • Effective Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
