About The Position

Armada Systems seeks a Software Engineer in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves active participation in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient, and resilient software solutions. The engineer will contribute to system design and integration, assist in designing software architectures, and integrate software components to improve system functionality and user experience, under guidance from more experienced engineers. Responsibilities also include supporting the implementation of testing protocols to ensure software quality and reliability, monitoring and optimizing system performance under mentorship, and engaging in collaborative development efforts across functions. The role requires learning and applying best practices in continuous integration and deployment to enhance the development process. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. The wage range for this role is $117,749-$130,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or other closely related degrees.
  • 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience building backend services in Go/Java/Python with REST or gRPC and microservices.
  • 2 years of experience in Software Development Methodologies.
  • 1 year of experience working with datastores such as, PostgreSQL, MySQL; and Redis, Cassandra, Cosmos DB.
  • 1 year of experience in Containerization & orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 1 year of experience in Cloud operations on a major cloud-Azure (AKS, storage, monitoring) or AWS/GCP equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in Observability (metrics, logging, tracing) using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Jaeger, or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in Delivery & quality: CI/CD with Git-based workflows and GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, plus unit/integration testing, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum in production.
