About The Position

The Software Engineer is critical to advancing the company's products and technical capabilities. By designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions, this role directly impacts customer satisfaction, product innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth. The position provides the technical expertise and execution necessary to deliver high-quality software while supporting the long-term success of the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar), with the ability to work from detailed specifications.
  • Understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, test witnessing, and certification.
  • Knowledge of DevOps culture, practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of managing and maintaining third-party application installations and configurations.
  • Ability to identify and resolve fundamental software or system issues.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes test-driven development and design techniques to implement unit tests for assigned feature areas or software components.
  • Assists product owners with establishing clearly defined requirements and developing user stories.
  • Assists product owners with composing technical details for statements of work.
  • Recognizes classes of problems and derives applicable solutions.
  • Contributes to the formation of engineering standards and software development best practices.
