About The Position

Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors. The Software Engineer Develops and supports SQL-based Azure-hosted web applications. Performs Agile-based software engineering and full lifecycle development across multiple platforms.

Requirements

CompTIA Sec+ certification.
AZ-204 Certification.
Full-stack development experience with .NET.
Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process.
Experience with Enterprise application management.
Experience with Software development change management.
Experience with Microsoft 70-461 test querying.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900.
Experience with C# application language.
.NET experience with .NET Core to include .NET Framework, .NET 4.8 and .NET 8.0.
Software coding expertise – SQL, python, Angular, MVC, .NET, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and .NET 8.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise.
Working knowledge and experience developing applications in both on premise and cloud environments and those that integrate with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Working knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance or other cloud storage platform.
Understanding of Marine Corps policy writing.
DoD Active SECRET Level Clearance Required.

Responsibilities

Operate as part of combined team managed by the IMKM government Application Management Branch Head and the IMKM Program Manager contractor supporting government customer.
Apply process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects incorporating best practices and preparing/delivering milestone status reports as part of quality assurance.
Develop Web based applications including complex queries and stored procedures to transform government agencies to be able to deliver their services on time.
Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
Monitor and evaluate system database usage and performance metrics/statistics and apply new technologies and programs for optimization.
Identify and troubleshoot problems and coordinate with the Government Lead to ensure problems are resolved to the users' satisfaction.
Prepare required documentation to include technical documents, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, instructional material, security requirements, user manuals, configuration documents, and operational procedure manuals in support of routine development and in maintaining the system' s Authority to Operate (ATO).
Provide support as required outside the scope of the traditional system development life cycle such as: preparing records for destruction in accordance with record management policy, executing the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), and assist in Knowledge Management strategies.
Build and maintain data integration packages to accommodate external data sources to include scheduling of data transfer along with preparation of the supporting Interface Connection Agreement (ICA) documentation.
Provide collaborative support as required to interface MARFORRES applications with Power BI to provide near real-time report capabilities for MARFORRES systems.
Support interface connection agreements between MARFORRES applications and external data sources.
Ability to gather requirements; produce system designs and technical specifications; technology solutions; train key stakeholders such as support personnel, system administrators, and end users; maintain and supports business software.
Ability to develop and maintain a detailed understanding of how application software has been configured and integrated to support user needs, database structures, data use, and process inputs and outputs for his/her responsible functions.
Ability to communicate with application users to address incidents, fulfill requests, administer changes, and resolve problems, as per established policies and best practices.
Ability to self-initiate work and work within a team to create solutions to identified problems and shortfalls identified with the necessary applications.
Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
Provide technical support and education for other team/staff members.
Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects.
Willingness to learn the user role/security administration functions of newer technologies brought into the applications.
Communication of application capabilities and requirements to audiences of varying levels of Information Technology experience.
