About The Position

Glean Technologies, Inc. has multiple openings for a Software Engineer. The role helps build a software platform designed to scale indefinitely, including scalable enterprise search solutions. The engineer works across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces to deliver secure, high-quality products that meet customer needs. The position is based in Mountain View, California, with telecommuting as an option. The work includes designing and maintaining full-stack applications, developing user-facing features and server-side services, building backend systems, and applying data analytics and algorithm design to product and engineering challenges.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field; any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
Experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications, building full-stack applications spanning front-end, REST APIs, and application servers, or training and productionizing machine learning or information retrieval systems.
Experience with full-stack development.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with React.
Experience with data analytics and data visualization.
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with Flask.
Experience with Java.
Experience with C++.
Experience with algorithm design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications spanning front-end interfaces, REST APIs, and application servers.
Build and optimize user-facing features using TypeScript and React.
Develop server-side services and tooling using Node.js and Flask.
Write and maintain backend systems and services in Java and C++.
Perform data analytics and data visualization to inform product decisions and system performance.
Apply algorithm design skills to solve complex engineering problems across distributed systems.
