Software Engineer - Intern
About The Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is hiring an Engineering Intern to apply classroom-learned skills to programs supporting national defense. The role offers opportunities to contribute to projects related to fundamental defense services and high-stakes national security missions, working with collaborative teams and esteemed customers. Interns work alongside technically accomplished colleagues to develop their skills in a flexible environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded. GDMS engineers technology solutions, products, and services that help customers execute missions across operational domains.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- A standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- U.S. citizenship is generally required due to the nature of work performed within company facilities.
