About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences related to their programs of study. Interns contribute to team success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and develop skills through learning opportunities and networking events. During the Summer Internship Program, interns engage in hands-on work on projects and tasks and contribute to department initiatives. The program introduces JM Family’s core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will support software development, data, and AI initiatives. Your work will help streamline processes and automate tedious tasks, supporting greater efficiency across the team. The internship is full-time from May 24, 2027, through July 30, 2027. Working arrangements are flexible depending on business needs and may be revised based on performance, business needs, and manager discretion.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field; candidates in related fields will also be considered.
• Have completed at least one semester of coursework.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred areas of study include Software Engineering or Computer Information Systems (CIS).
• Knowledge of or exposure to software development, data, and artificial intelligence concepts.
• Interest in applying technical skills to reporting, automation, and AI-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Power BI reports to support team initiatives.
• Contribute to projects involving AI agents.
• Support AI automation initiatives focused on streamlining processes and reducing tedious tasks.
• Apply software development skills to assigned projects and team priorities.
• Work with data as part of software development, reporting, and AI-related initiatives.
