About The Position

Visionist is hiring a Software Engineer for an opportunity on its PRIME contract. The role supports a mission focused on visualization and presentation services for prototyping, developing, and producing analytic tools. The team builds, deploys, and sustains data platforms, processing systems, and user-facing tools for tactical users. Telework is available up to two days per week. Visionist embeds small engineering teams with analysts to address Intelligence Community software and analysis challenges. Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or an additional four years of experience in place of the degree.
Seven years of experience in software development.
Experience implementing AWS services in production.
Experience with on-premises and cloud architecture software implementation.
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
Applicants selected must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web-based analysis tools.
Develop custom software and deployment configurations.
Perform application modernization and cloud migration.
Implement CI/CD pipelines.
Deploy and test software.
Create infrastructure through code, software re-architecture, and documentation.
