About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a back-end developer to contribute to software solutions for clients. The role involves identifying potential risks and developing efficient, effective systems using clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure. The engineer will work with a development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability, using contemporary architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools.

Requirements

• Experience using Java to build enterprise products and applications.
• Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus.
• Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classified access.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI or ML pipelines and processes.
• Experience with ETL software patterns for ingesting large and complex datasets.
• Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with geospatial tools and datasets.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
