About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. The engineer will be involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Responsibilities also include identifying and troubleshooting application code-related issues, taking an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions align with pre-defined architectural specifications, and assisting with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. The engineer will also participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education and experience required: in a related field of study plus nine (9) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Big Data Engineer, IT Consultant or a related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Big Data Engineer, IT Consultant or a related occupation.
