The Associate Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions that support Broadridge's products and platforms. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, this role contributes to the full software development lifecycle by building high-quality, scalable applications while applying software engineering best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms, including multithreading and socket programming.
Experience designing and developing high-quality software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing enterprise-scale, distributed software applications.
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and distributed architectures.
Knowledge of Agile or other software development methodologies.
Experience working with global or offshore development teams.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and software development.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established development standards.
Plan and complete assigned development tasks while meeting project deadlines.
