About The Position

The team is in search of an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and operate highly scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong Java and distributed computing experience, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerization, and practical familiarity with AWS cloud services. This is a critical bridge role using expertise in distributed computing and containerization to move the platform beyond JAVA/JVM, creating a secure environment where AI/ML models can be trained and deployed at scale.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity, with demonstrated expertise in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution; in lieu of a degree, an additional five (5) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience may be substituted
Strong Java and distributed computing experience
Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerization
Practical familiarity with AWS cloud services

Responsibilities
