The Software Engineer will build and maintain the internal systems, data pipelines, and tools that power Astiva Health's clinical, quality, pharmacy, and risk adjustment operations. Working closely with data analysts, clinical staff, and operational teams, this role turns complex healthcare workflows into reliable software. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining web applications, internal tools, and backend services supporting Medicare Advantage clinical and operational workflows. It also includes developing and optimizing RESTful APIs and data integrations across claims, pharmacy, enrollment, and risk adjustment systems, as well as building and maintaining ETL pipelines and automated workflows for analytics, reporting, and CMS regulatory submissions. The engineer will write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas in SQL Server environments, collaborate with various teams to translate operational needs into software, and build/integrate reporting interfaces and dashboards (Power BI, SSRS). Documentation, code reviews, sprint planning, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools are also key aspects of the role.
