As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining services in a FedRAMP compliant environment, therefore, must be a U.S. citizen. Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Master's degree with 0 years of work experience; or
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience; or
An educational or workforce development program (e.g., Associate’s, Apprenticeship, Boot camp, or Certification) with 3 years of work experience; or
A High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of work experience.
Qualifying education and work experience should be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrated proficiency writing software, data structures, and algorithms in at least one modern programming language (such as Go, Python, or Ruby).
Hands-on experience building, deploying, or managing cloud infrastructure across major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure).
Applied coursework or practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), or automation tooling (such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or CloudFormation).

Nice To Haves

Practical experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes container orchestration, including command-line tooling (kubectl).
Working knowledge of distributed systems concepts, including concurrency control, consistency models, CAP theorem, or distributed databases/file systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing, system observability/telemetry, and Unix/Linux terminal environments.
Experience leveraging generative AI tools or machine learning models to automate developer tooling, infrastructure workflows, or script execution.
Demonstrated ability to take proactive ownership of engineering deliverables, communicate technical concepts effectively, and thrive in an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

Maintaining services in a FedRAMP compliant environment.
Contributing directly to a large-scale codebase deploying daily across multiple cloud platforms—including AWS, GCP, Azure, and GovCloud—to serve thousands of enterprise customers.
Architecting self-service developer tools and abstractions that enable internal engineering teams to safely manage infrastructure without central bottlenecks.
Deploying and monitoring production systems across multi-cloud environments, tuning telemetry, metrics, and alerting to drive operational excellence.
Participating in supported on-call rotations to diagnose complex system anomalies, resolve production incidents, and identify root causes.
Building and integrating AI-powered tools into engineering workflows to automate configuration changes and optimize continuous delivery pipelines.
