About The Position

Set of X is hiring a Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to join a team of engineers working in government contracting. All positions require an active clearance, and this role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The position involves developing Python applications for user and data management, deploying and maintaining servers, adapting the platform to evolving mission requirements, and working directly with users to gather feedback and provide support. The role calls for experience with Python, Django, SQL, Ansible, Git, Linux, Redis, and Nginx, as well as comfort running and troubleshooting servers in Linux environments. Candidates should have eight years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree. Requirements

Experience with Python, Django, SQL, Ansible, Git, Linux, Redis, and Nginx.
Basic experience working in Linux environments and comfort running and troubleshooting servers.
Experience interacting directly with customers.
Eight years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years in place of the bachelor's degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within a cross-functional team.
Develop Python applications for user and data management.
Develop Ansible playbooks to deploy and maintain upwards of 50 servers.
Adapt the platform as mission requirements progress.
Elicit requirements and feedback directly from users.
Assist users in utilizing the platform and help them develop their own scripts and processes.
