Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5 years of professional experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience designing, testing and optimizing software is required.
Strong C++ and OOD/OOA skills required.
Must have solid understanding of C++ development.
Strong commitment to quality object-oriented design, and detail-oriented.
Ability to self-manage and work under minimal supervision.
Familiarity with modern software development practices (e.g. version control, issue tracking, code review, agile practices).

Nice To Haves

Experience designing user interfaces (familiarity with DirectX and Winforms a plus).
Experience developing software for Semiconductor manufacturing equipment or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Write and support C++ software development by coding, debugging and testing complex application software.
Work with testers, developers, and operations to help reproduce and solve field and internal issues in the application, network, and environment.
Act as a cross functional lead to pull together software, hardware, and controls on some projects, act as the software representative for others.
Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of a design within time and cost constraints.
Provide design/architectural solutions for new features to be implemented.
Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation of criterion for obtaining results.
Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment using supporting tools.
Must be able to travel 20% domestically and internationally. Example: Every two months for one week at a time
