About The Position

This role involves leading the modernization of legacy platforms to modern infrastructure. The engineer will design cloud-native architectures, containerize applications, and manage deployments on cloud platforms. Responsibilities include designing and implementing data pipelines for high-volume data processing, and scheduling and managing data processing jobs. The role also entails developing and implementing workflow automation, managing the transmission of partner information, points, and offers in the reward system, and overseeing security control procedures, including assessments and data governance. Additionally, the engineer will conduct risk classification and application assessments, identify potential risks, implement defect prevention strategies, and design and review co-branding architecture for credit cards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Application Support, or related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience with automating build and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines, managing jobs, and troubleshooting build issues using Jenkins.
  • Three (3) years of experience with automating project builds, managing dependencies, and controlling versions using Maven or Gradle.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing and developing software applications using Java 5 or later versions.
  • Two (2) years of experience building enterprise-level applications, including dependency injection and aspect-oriented programming, using the Spring framework.
  • Two (2) years of experience creating microservices and standalone applications with Spring Boot.
  • Two (2) years of experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Amazon ECS.
  • Two (2) years of experience orchestrating containerized applications using Amazon EKS.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing server-less applications and functions for event-driven computing using AWS Lambda.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing and storing data and data life cycle policies using Amazon S3.
  • Two (2) years of experience setting up, managing, and optimizing relational databases using Amazon RDS.
  • Two (2) years of experience processing data for big data analytics using Amazon EMR.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing, scheduling, and managing complex data workflows using Apache Airflow.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing scripts and applications for automation and data processing using Python.
