About The Position

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking Software Engineers to drive the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. This role involves solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices, participating in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design, documenting specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. The engineer will also identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, lead code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural specifications, and lead design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and data flows. Participation in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions is also expected.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Operations Engineer, Sr Integration Engineer, or related occupation.
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Operations Engineer, Sr Integration Engineer, or related occupation.
Five (5) years of experience with developing solutions that are reliable, have high availability, and offer quick recovery.
Five (5) years of experience with developing Java backend services in the Spring Boot framework.
Five (5) years of experience with developing shell scripts for automating installation of software and code deployments.
Five (5) years of experience with writing complex SQL queries for data analysis.
Five (5) years of experience with developing and designing work flows for the webMethods Integration Server and webMethods Trading Network that use the Integration Server's built in services, JDBC Adapter, MQ Adapter, and EDIINT module.
Five (5) years of experience with developing and designing custom adaptors for the webMethods Integration Server.
Five (5) years of experience with installing and configuring webMethods Integration Server and MWS.
Five (5) years of experience with debugging services running in the webMethods Integration Server to identify defects.
Three (3) years of experience with breaking down projects into smaller manageable cycles using Agile SDLC.
Three (3) years of experience with using Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines to integrate applications with modern data storage solutions including S3.
Three (3) years of experience with automated testing to automate the execution of quality assurance and performance testing by creating complex scripts and programs.
Three (3) years of experience with integrating Prometheus and Dynatrace into the webMethods and Spring Boot frameworks to create performance metrics for identification of capacity limitations.
Three (3) years of experience with managing file systems, CPU and memory utilization, user accounts, and file permissions using Linux OS Administration.
Three (3) years of experience with troubleshooting SFTP, HTTPS, and AS2 file transmissions.
