About The Position

This entry-level Software Engineer position involves understanding and modifying applications using various technologies such as Linux, Windows, Java, React, CSS, and Python. The role includes creating and modifying software and test documentation, supporting development, evaluation, system/software integration, and testing. Responsibilities also encompass supporting unit testing and system/software integration testing, including the development of test plans and procedures. The engineer will ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products and will work within an Agile Scrum environment, adhering to software engineering standards and utilizing common tools.

Requirements

High school diploma with 5-6 years of experience, or pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
Object-oriented programming experience in C++ and/or Java
Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments such as Eclipse
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Bamboo and Git
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work and thrive in both individual and team coding environments with mentors

Nice To Haves

Experience with development under UNIX- or Linux-based systems
Experience in web development
Experience with databases

Responsibilities
