About The Position

This position is onsite in Glenwood, IL. The role requires experience developing applications that interface with industrial equipment or machinery utilizing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) frameworks. Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is essential, including data modeling, schema design, writing and optimizing stored procedures, views, and complex queries, and working with SSIS packages and Entity Framework. Hands-on experience developing applications using VB.NET and/or C# is required, along with a proven ability to debug and troubleshoot performance issues, including machine timing and system latency problems. Experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications using Git, Octopus Deploy, and TeamCity is also necessary. Furthermore, experience designing, deploying, or supporting applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is needed, encompassing cloud-based application hosting and infrastructure, integration with on-premise systems and industrial environments, and monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments. Familiarity with Agile development tools, including Jira for work tracking and Confluence for documentation, is expected.

Requirements
