About The Position

Net 2 Source Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 to join their team. This role involves creating frameworks to solve multiple business problems, leading design and architecture on projects, and writing high-quality code. The engineer will lead and inspire other engineers through design and execution, take ownership of solutions and systems, and break down complex work into smaller tasks for junior engineers. They will also influence design within and across teams, provide guidance on software design, development, and industry best practices, and diagnose and remedy performance or security issues. The role includes facilitating cross-functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and surfacing potential design or delivery conflicts with recommendations. Expertise in industry standards for secure development practices and telemetry solutions is expected. The engineer will also contribute to community projects and engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in delivering quality software
Proficient with Java, Java Spring Boot Framework, and Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience with RESTful architecture and microservices
Experience with system design, architecture, scaling and performance testing
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and/or GCP
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with messaging technologies and patterns (Kafka/SQS)
Familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform and testing tools
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
Test automation experience at all levels (Unit, Integration, Regression, Load)
Familiarity with ops tools, logging, and metrics (New Relic, Splunk)

Expertise with telemetry solutions and products available in the industry
Contributes to community projects and engineering standards
Help mentor junior engineers
