About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer to provide technical, engineering, and cybersecurity support across the US Navy Above Water Sensors portfolio. This role contributes to system development efforts spanning concept exploration, engineering and manufacturing development, test and evaluation, production, and sustainment. The position supports complex Navy radar, combat systems, and sensor programs operating under multiple Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways. Responsibilities include performing systems and advanced technology analysis, supporting software implementation and integration, and contributing to engineering trade studies and technical documentation. This is a contingent position pending contract award.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • A) a high school degree, or a GED, and 20 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production, and/or test experience.
  • B) a bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and 15 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production, and/or test experience.
  • C) a master's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and 10 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production, and/or test experience.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
