About The Position

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking Software Engineers to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. The engineer will be involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards, documenting specifications, translating technical requirements into code, and developing or enhancing software modules. Responsibilities also include identifying and troubleshooting code-related issues, participating in code reviews, assisting with design reviews, and participating in project planning sessions. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, IT Analyst/Consultant, or related occupation.
  • Seven (7) years of experience with building and maintaining web applications using Core Java and the Spring Framework.
  • Seven (7) years of experience utilizing JPA or Hibernate for object relational mapping and efficient database interactions within enterprise applications.
  • Seven (7) years of experience designing, developing, and deploying REST APIs for scalable microservices architectures in cloud environments.
  • Seven (7) years of experience developing and maintaining database solutions using Oracle and PLSQL, including writing complex queries, procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Five (5) years of experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
  • Five (5) years of experience with AWS architecture, deployment, and security.
  • Five (5) years of experience designing and developing web applications using Adobe Experience Manager AEM.
  • Five (5) years of experience leveraging Adobe Marketo and AEM to create integrated and compelling digital marketing campaigns across both web and email.
  • Five (5) years of experience implementing and optimizing Elastic Search for advanced search capabilities and data indexing in web applications.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Maven for project build automation, dependency management, and streamlining development workflows.
  • Five (5) years of experience using Git for version control, collaboration, and codebase management in distributed development teams.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Adobe suite for digital marketing, web traffic analysis, and content personalization, including Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement software solutions.
  • Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
  • Analyze requirements, incorporate architectural standards into application design specifications, and document application specifications.
  • Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop or enhance software application modules.
  • Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues.
  • Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
  • Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
  • Mentor junior associates by supporting work assignments and guiding through application architecture.
