About The Position

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This DevOps-focused position oversees and monitors live production operations to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of GHOSTGEM's software application suite, including DINO. The engineer identifies, diagnoses, and responds to service disruptions, performance degradation, and operational issues; performs basic troubleshooting and corrective actions; supports system sustainment; and collaborates with development and operations teams to maintain system health, improve operational efficiency, and support continuous service delivery. The position requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Requirements

• TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and tools.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash.
• Recent Python 3.x software development experience.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI.
• Experience with distributed logging and monitoring, such as the ELK Stack and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Helm Charts for deploying containerized services on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks, including RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible.
• Experience using Git source control.

Responsibilities
