Software Engineer (Partial Telework)
About The Position
GliaCell is seeking a Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. The role focuses on modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. GliaCell Technologies specializes in Software & System Engineering within Enterprise and Cyber Security solutions, emphasizing Agile Software Development principles for stable and reliable software delivery. Requirements
- Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 5 years).
- 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 1 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Works well independently as well as on a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium, Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
- S/W: Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible
- Other: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD
Responsibilities
- Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Playwright, Cucumber and Cyprus Cypress
- Being knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
- Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Professional communication and collaboration. Software Development is a team-oriented discipline.
- Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
