About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. The Work: Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 7 years).
Professional/Education experience: 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
U.S. Citizenship.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.
Need strong AWS experience
Need Java, SpringBoot

Microservice architectures
CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker
Database : NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design
OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
Test frameworks and automation to include Playwright and Cucumber

Responsibilities

Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
Agile development and delivery of software
Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline.
Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
