About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 2 Software Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to work from our Littleton, CO location. As a Software Engineer, you will be joining Ground Element Test engineers responsible for integration, testing, and deploying software and hardware products as an integral component of a larger, complex system and across multiple contracts throughout the full software lifecycle. You will perform technical development for the requirements and regression test team by performing requirement verification, system validation, and Test Automation development. You will design, develop, and implement testing of use cases, scenarios, and requirements using different development languages and automated test tools. You will work with members of the test team of engineers when defining test plans for requirement verification, system validation, and architect the test automation framework as we continue to transition into a DevOps paradigm. You will perform and/or ensure the ongoing verification/validation of the created tests, clearly communicating ideas and collaborating across multiple teams. You will possess strong organizational, written, and communication skills for interacting with engineers on the team and across teams daily. This is an Emerging Professional (level 2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance
1+ years of professional experience
BS degree
Experience with programming and/or scripting languages (C++, JAVA, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
Experience with Agile and or Devops
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI within eight weeks and willingness to obtain a poly.

Automated testing experience (Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, junit, Sikuli, REST Assured etc.)
Experience developing and communicating clear, concise test procedures
Experience with building test architectures
Experience with the Space domain (satellite ground systems and orbital platforms)
Experience with Agile Development environments
Experience with Agile Automated Test Development tools, software, and processes (e.g. Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, Docker container deployments, Kubernetes, JIRA, Confluence)

Responsibilities
