Software Engineer - Orchestrated Application Recovery
About The Position
The Software Engineer will join Rubrik’s AppFlows team, which is developing a Disaster Recovery as a Service offering. The team is building a platform to move applications between locations, including across leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role involves building innovative cloud solutions from the ground up for on-premises and cloud environments. The engineer will own, design, and develop disaster recovery solutions, with a focus on backend feature delivery and appropriate unit testing. The role also contributes to a collaborative team culture that sets and achieves high standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of product development experience.
- Ability to identify scalable and elegant solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
- Proficiency in Scala, C++, or Java.
Nice To Haves
- Backend development experience.
- Experience designing and developing large distributed systems.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, or other public cloud technologies.
- Experience with the VMware technology stack.
