About The Position

Cloaked is a privacy startup dedicated to rebuilding consumer trust in how personal data is used. Our vision is to create an internet that serves the needs of its users, first and foremost—with individual privacy and opt-in at the core. Our product is a virtual “cloak” that you use as you visit any website — Facebook, Amazon, etc. It lets you choose to share all, some, or none of your private information based on your personal preference.

Requirements

Strong fullstack engineering fundamentals
Experience shipping product features or systems end to end
Proven ability to work across user experience, application logic, and backend systems
Good product judgment and comfort making decisions in ambiguous environments
Strong ownership and a track record of following through on important work
Experience building secure, reliable, and scalable software
Comfort working closely with design, product, and other engineers
Clear communication and the ability to drive work across functions

Responsibilities

Lead the roadmap and implementation of the features you own, identifying improvements that will enable new functionality for existing and new products
Take ownership of new greenfield products and gain valuable experience in building new products
Collaborate with cross-functional groups - frontend, backend, design, etc., leading to innovation and growth
Seamlessly move across the stack from frontend to backend building new features and delighting our customers
Tackle challenging problems in a collaborative environment as we continue to scale our customer base 10x.
