The Software Engineer role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Piada’s company sites, internal analytics dashboard, and point-of-sale systems with the goal of enhancing our technical infrastructure to better serve our guests and teams. This role is also responsible for maintaining menu management systems, managing third-party applications, assisting stores with point-of-sale issues, and partnering with internal teams to use technology to solve business problems. You will also be a point of contact for guests seeking help with online orders, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other inquiries or concerns they may have. The ideal candidate for this role will embody and demonstrate Piada’s core values, have a passion for development and guest experience, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with various cross-functional teams within the organization. You are comfortable moving between code, data, vendors, store technology, and guest-facing systems while keeping business impact and service quality at the center of your work. In this position, you will broaden your technical expertise and tackle real-world business challenges.
