Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with Java (Java 8/11/17+).
• 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security).
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• 4+ years of strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• 2+ years for experience with Mongo database.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React for building production-grade, user-facing web interfaces.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform or GCP Cloud Deployment Manager for automated environment provisioning.
• Prior experience in the automotive, connected vehicle, or IoT industry, particularly with over-the-air (OTA) software delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing the cloud platforms and microservices that power connected vehicles and over-the-air (OTA) software delivery.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, secure, and resilient backend services using Java (Java 8/11/17+) and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Building responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular and/or React.
• Architecting, developing, and integrating robust RESTful APIs and microservices designed for high availability and low latency.
• Implementing complex business logic, performant data models, and optimized database schemas in PostgreSQL, Mongo Database.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Driving engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.
• Designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using best practices for security, reliability, and scaling.
• Building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (e.g., Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
• Automating environment provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or GCP Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Configuring proactive logging, tracing, and alerting solutions using GCP Monitoring and/or Dynatrace to maintain system health and rapidly resolve production issues.
• Acting as a technical guide and mentor for junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Partnering closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and architects to translate business goals into high-performing technical implementations.
• Actively participating in and leading Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives).
