About The Position

Rapiscan Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products range from hand held metal detectors to Real Time Tomography used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. This individual will support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of innovative X-ray imaging technologies, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, they will focus on maintaining high standards of quality, contributing to cutting-edge design improvements, and helping customers effectively address evolving security challenges across critical infrastructure and border protection environments.

Requirements

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, similar technical field of study required.
1+ years of experience in software development required.
Linux development experience is a plus.
Self-motivation and enthusiasm for problem solving.
Knowledge of agile development process.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
