About The Position

The Software Engineer contributes to engineering strategy and builds and deploys robust software and infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on scalable, high-availability financial services and distributed systems, balancing reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Two years of work experience in software development.
Two years of experience designing and deploying scalable infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Two years of experience with cloud-native networking, compute instances such as EC2, and storage solutions for global, high-availability financial services.
Two years of experience developing software in Go and Ruby for distributed systems and internal tooling.
Two years of experience writing maintainable code to automate infrastructure management and develop core services for microservice architecture.
Two years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies to manage large-scale server fleets and microservices.
Two years of experience designing orchestration strategies for system reliability, resource allocation, and seamless deployments across distributed environments.
Two years of experience designing, building, and debugging high-scale distributed systems with open-source tools, analyzing system architectures, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven optimizations for latency, resiliency, and cost-performance.

Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions.
Make appropriate tradeoffs among reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
Design and implement software solutions that improve infrastructure, resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale.
Uphold engineering standards and improve the codebase and processes.
